Mannequins in your own image

At some point, we have all ordered clothes from a catalogue. But it isn't easy to be sure we have ordered the right size... Buying clothes from a website poses a similar problem. But today, robotics have come to improve this state of affairs!

Fits.Me has come up with robot mannequins, the FitBots. What is so special about them? Their size and measurements can be made to exactly mimic those of the customer. As a result, on the British company's site, we can select garments thanks to virtual fitting room. A FitBot clad in a silhouette in our image puts on items we are interested in. Photos are then displayed showing the results.

This innovative service is aimed at woman as much as at men. What are its limitations? For the moment, these robots don't have any legs... To order trousers, we'll have to come back another time!Provided by YC/ATC-TCL.com
