In the not so distant future, it is quite likely that a great many human-machine interactions will be possible through thought alone! Researchers around the world are pulling out all the stops to design prototype helmets capable of capturing, and above all correctly interpreting, the nerve impulses in our brains.

The Japanese manufacturer Toyota, conscious of the potential of such interactions in the field of transport, has come up with a way of using this futuristic technology on its cycle project "Prius", currently in development.
